Pond Pumps...

I'm looking for a pond pump for a 6400l pond (approx 1500gal) to drive a filter and waterfall. I need a head height of about 1 metre and I thing about 2500lph flow, as it will be lightly stocked The filter it's driving will be a DIY one, build from a 20l bucket...

I have seen the Aquarius range and like them, currently eyeing up a Aquarius 2500, but I don't know if it will be solids handeling. Anyone know what their long-term reliability is like?

I use a Laguna pump. bought it in May to filter my new pond. My ponds only 700 or so gallons but its raised and lifts water to filter box 45 inches up.

theres plenty of pumps in the Laguna range to cater for all sizes
