Thats as far as i am at the moment. My next step will be to wait for the pond plant season to come around. Then add the filtration, which i haven't decided on yet.:)

hey

anyone know when it will be warm enough to add the golfish to the pond? Could really do with getting the current tank restarted and going for Discus.

Cheers

quick update

pond is complete, full of water and filtered by a Ponduett 3000

Current fish stock is
2 Goldfish
1 Shubunkin
1 Comet
1 Koi
1 Ghost/mirror koi/carp

Looks good, got rid of that stupid blue thing and planted that area up still needs more plants etc , but its work in progress :)

Pics in the next few days or so..

Pond is way to small for koi and again too small for a carp/ghost koi.

good luck with the pond though

yeah fish are active and feeding well :)

Ok 1. You have no idea how big my pond is.
2. The kois are no longer than 6 or 7 inches. so the pond is plenty big enough until i have time to expand :)

1. i would estimate appoxmitly 5ft long x 32inch deep x 32 inch wide giving you about 1000 liters and just under 200 gallons
2. i would presume the koi is about 1 year old. by the end of this season if it is in proper conditions would be about 10 inch atleast. the first year of the kois life is the most important imo when it improves its skin/pattern and growth.

i was just clearly pointing out that the pond is too small for any type of carp it was abit of advice.
