pond depth?

For a 16x11 ft maximum koi pond what sort of depth would be ideal?

will most likely be a raised pond or semi raised

3'-4' would be great, that would make it around 5000 gallons!!

yer 2ft depth is 2000+gallons, 3ft is 3000+ gallons and so on mmmmmm lots of gallons
