Hi, I'm new to this site so please forgive me if this question has been asked before.

Right, the last couple of weeks I've noticed that the water in my pond has gone a milky colour and since then has started going a little green.

I regularly clean the pond and add an anti-algae solution to keep the dreaded stuff away.

The only thing I've done different recently is add a few shingle stones to one of the ledges so could it be just this that has caused the milky looking water ?

Many thanks

Hi Tony welcome to TFF,if the shingles been washed before going in can't see it being that.
Our pond is looking a bit green at moment, but its the sunlight thats causing it.

Is your pump running ok and check your filter.

Thanks for the advice Cat, much appreciated. I've checked the pump and indeed it was clogged up somewhat. I've cleared it and topped up the water so here's hoping.

Many thanks again
