Carbon changed monthly, and Phosphate binder changed Bi-weekly both wrapped in knee-high stockings in bubble walls of my sump (yes the cashiers at the drug store are always amused at that one). Also home made calcium and alkalinity suppliments only when needed. A little calc every week and a little alk every month. And of course food for the fishies :D

Kalkwasser daily to imcrease Alk andd Calc. I dont add anything else, as ive recently had a huge growth in corals, and my shrooms have gone bananas! Im a firm beleiver in the "dont add anything unless you test for it" statement. Regular water changes, using either NSW or SSW will keep things up to spec.

Nothing for the moment other than water changes when needed. I am looking into adding kalk to my system but I think I am going to wait until I upgrade the lighting (which is also when I move the tank). I do use a phosphate binder in my nano though since I don't have a fuge.

Ca and Alk as needed (about 20ml each every 2-3 weeks) then Mg to follow (about 10ml every 4-6 weeks) Carbon is changed every 4 weeks. Pos buster in reactor changed when the Pos tests go up one on the test scale. (0 to 0.25)
