Poecilia news came in the mail today...

Today the second edition of this year's Poecilia news came in the mail. My article about "Superfetation within the Poeciliidae family" has been published (5 pages). This magazine is published 4 times a year.

I won't show the whole article because of regulations that I'm committed to.

As you probably know, I do write relevant articles within the field of livebearers. And not just in Holland. It's always a joy to write about something that I've got a passion about.

Thank you. But I do write regularly articles. To me this is considered being routine work. But I do have to admit that it's always exciting to wait to see it in the mail. Eventhough I'm one of the editors. But also in Germany and France articles of mine have been published within the livebearer field.

Well, in general articles in such magazines are not the kind of things you'd discuss on an average aquaristic forum. And actually I wouldn't know why that is. But in general publishers want articles be worth the money investment they'll make.

Congratulations! 5 pages that is a good size article.

It actually is. Most of my articles are between 3-6 pages. I could write way more but a number like this won't annoy the reader that fast. You have to keep the reader interested.

But yes, my name does cross the borders within this field. Which I'm proud of, btw. Nice to know that my work is appreciated. I've put my heart and soul in it...
