Pod Cultures...

I see lots of adds for pod/rotifier/plankton cultures Are they any good?

As we were thinking of getting some to kick start the fuge.

Also what is/are rotifier

Couldn't hurt Ian . Rotifers are slighly larger than phytoplankton. They are a food for many larval fish, small inverts, and some corals.

cool, migth stick one in. the LR in our fuge came from a tank with tonnes of copoepods in and we're off to another lfs to get some LR from there this weekend (figure different shops gonna have different critters) but giving it a bit of a kick start certainly shouldn't hurt!
