I have just been speaking to a friend of mine and mentioned that as I spoke to her I was also typing on a fish forum and she told me the story of when her parents moved house when she was younger
They packed up all the fish they had from their large tank into bags counting each one in and started to move the tank when more fish arrived at the bottom (bearing in mind thses were large fish not a molly here and there), so her Dad shrugged and started to bag these ones, in total 15+ extra fully grown fish were found!!!!!
When her father asked where they had come from her mother had no idea, the only thing that could be worked out to explain it was.......her Mother did a frequent head count.......but stopped when she had found the number she expected to find for example she looked for 8 cories counted 8 cories, all was well (and the extra 3 cories were all well too, but she stopped counting at 8!!!!!!)
Im sure I have seen this same story in Jurrasic Park!!!!!!!
