Plywood/Acrylic DIY Tanks

I was thinking on making a plywood tank for my first aquarium. Im pretty good with making things and i thing http/www.garf.org/tank/ will help me make a plywood/acrylic tank. Does anyone know how much these tanks cost becuase i would really like to know.

Also i was planning on making it about an 18-20 gal tank so i can fit in this perfect place where my monitor goes. What type of fiter and lighting should i get.
