do yall think its would work if u use plexiglass for tank walls instead of regular glass?

Small tanks have been made of plastics for many years, but in commonly encountered thicknesses, it does not have the same strength as glass. Many huge display tanks at public aquaria have non glass windows, but they are very thick, like 150mm and need to be supported.
