I got these 2 plec off of a mates, mate and I'm not quite sure what they are. I've had a look at other pics but not 100%
The one on the plant I've had since oct but the smaller one in the net I only got today.
Also if anyone can, any idea of sex?

how big are they?

The older one is about 3 inches and the baby one is about 1.5.
I wanted a male and a female!

if one is only 1.5" then it could still be male but the other is defo female

They are diff ages. One I got bout xmas time and the other I got today. The older one was tiny when I first got it and was scared to put him in the tank coz I thought I was going to loose him!
(I love the way I call It 'he'!)

Are they both the same species? The plec in the net has much yellower spots.

Yes they are the same. They have the same mum and dad. I think it's the light that makes oth other one yellower and it's younger.
