how big would an average plec grow?

All plecs grow to different sizes, such as the sailfin plec can grow upto 12 inches (?) and a Bristlenose plec might get up to 5 - 6 inches. they all vary. Here are some that grow under 8 inches.

ive never heard of a average plec is it a new species
some get huge some stay small

The common pleco can get as big as 12-18inches. This is the usual pleco found in stores. I have one and he's at 9 inches now.
