Plecs Not Growing

Dont know whether im worrying over nothing but i have 2 bn's in a 2 ft tank they are both 1 1/2" long but have been that size now for 6-8 weeks, how fast are they meant to grow

It depends on what type of diet ur feeding them? They arent fast growth in rate.

I think they grow at a normal rate in proportion to their eventual size but they certainly dont grow quickly "to the human eye". In other words you wont notice them growing as much as you would a common plec for example, as they're only a small fish, but give it 6 months and they'll be on their way

ok thanks for that i was starting to worry a bit thats all because theres so many different plecs about i get a bit confused withh them all lol

thier diets consist of corgettes twice a week, algae wafers twice a week then normal catfish fish pellets twice a week then let them find thier own food on the other day. I add this much as there's 13 apple snails in the tank also.
