Plecos

I really want to add a couple of plecos to my tank (when the nitrates are a little lower ), as well as a few clown loach. My tank is 350 litres.

Does anyone know which ones will be suitable for this size of tank as i've seen quite a few hugh ones in the shops. Is it true that they will not grow too big for the tank? I thought that was just a myth. If possible, i'd like some more unusual ones, like patterned or colourful ones.

it's a myth that they will stay small in a small tank. they either grow big anyway, or they get stunted which in effect makes them not grow as big, but results in them dying a painful premature death.

what'd i'd recommend you do is go to your lfs. write down the names of some you like the look of, then look them up on www.planetcatfish.com to see what size they get to.
