We have 2 albino BN plecos in our 29 gallon tank.
We used to be able to see them stuck to the wall, the substrate or the plants in the tank, and then suddenly, they've both disappeared.
There aren't any tunnels in the tank, there's just a bunch of live plants, a BIG amazon sword in the front that makes it difficult to see in the rest of the tank, and a small piece of wood on the other side where you can't see behind it.
Do breeding plecos disappear for a bit to do their thing and take care of the eggs maybe? If so, about how long do they stay hidden?
Or should I be searching for 2 bodies or whatever remains of them. I haven't seen them in hmmm.. about 4 or 5 days now.
I didn't think they were mature. They're still small and neither one of them have any bristles that I could see.
