Plecos And Carrots

Can I feed my plec carrot?

If I can, do I need to boil it?

Yeah the plec will do well on carrots or sliced cucumber, just boil the carrots and shred them. They may also want a weight (like a lead fishing weight) because they float

You only have to cook them enough to soften them slightly. I have to say none of my plecs will eat it though.
