Can someone help identify my plecos please.

At the minute I can't geta picture because they have been hiding since I got them. (Yesterday)

They're dark brown with black marks and dots.
Are about 2-3 inches.
Are quite clumsy.
Have a dorsal fin which is mostly up
Look quite shabby.

In the mean while I will look through the internet to see if I can get a simalar picture,

Thanks

Awww @ the "look quite shabby" bit. I'm sure they're beautiful!

How much did you pay for them? And where from? They could be common plecs (liposarcus pardalis) or sailfin/gibbies (erm can never spell their latin name)...shall get the relevent pages on PC for you...

Common plec:

Gibby:

Could be a BN or an L001 if they were cheap too, but the colouring sounds wrong (spots should be light on a dark background) for them.
