Pleco Tankmates For A Common Pleco

I have a 14 inch common pleco in a 90 gallon tank. this fish must be about 15 years old and is a recues i took in as the person that had it moved to another country.
the only other pleco he's ever been with was another recue common pleco (6 inches) that died a few months later

could i house bristlenose plecos in this tank?

i really need some fish to clean off brown algea growing everywhere.

you need to clean the brown algae - most fish will not eat it.

Nah don't bother yourself to brown algea to fish....after all brown algea is not common in the wild so most fish won't even think about tasting it. I think it tastes nasty the brown algea grow due to the nitrate level.
