Pleco Slaming Other Fish!

I have had this pleco for a long time, i dont know how many years, and it has never been aggressive, but now it is swimming over other fish and beating them against the gravel/wall whatever is near! :crazy:

what is wrong with him? he is usualy shy.

is this like what elephants do? is he going through must? i am not even shure if it is a he! :blink:
help! he already killed 1 of my jewel cichlids! :sad:

Could you let us know the size/volume of your tank and what the other inhabitants are/how many please? Any recent changes to your tank? New additions?

Also, what type of plec is it and how big?

finaly help!!!

1 red finned shark

2 clown loaches

1 red serpae

2 moorii cichlids

and an unknown tiny catfish, mabey corydoras.

in a 90 gallon tank.

no recent changes, exept i did add a new plant but thats not it is it?

i think it is a common not sure it is blackish in color, white markings on underside, small teeth, brownish on some days. just help!

Might want to also try posting this thread in the plec part of the forum.
 
do a 15-25% water change with dechlorinate etc.

check to see if hes still doing the same thing.

also check if hes targetting one fish or all of them.

is it big fish ? if it is, is it bigger then him? or is it smaller then him

think i found the problem, or another problem if not, little red bugs, look like fleas? on water surface? help!
 
Post in tropical discussion more members go over there and might identify what bugs they are.
Any red pierce marks on the fish.
