Pleco Sick?

I just got back from a 3 week trip and had a friend looking after my tank. Everything looks fine except my pleco looks like hes shedding slime or soemthing. I moved him to a tank by himself but not sure what I should be treating him for if anything. He's eating fine(hasnt left his zuccini slice in about 45 min) just looks like he has a slime coat or something hanging off him. I havent tested yet so I dont kinow what my levels are for the water(have to get that tonight) but all my other fish look fine.

Any clue what it would be or how to treat it?

test for ammonia if its anything other than 0 do a water change.

ammonia causes the symptoms you've described.
