Pleco Sex's

How can one tell which the sex of Pleco's? And is there a good source for identifying the different species?

How you sex them depends on the species.

umm...ya, not to hijak but iv got a common pleco, hes brown. how do i sex him?

It is a common Brown..... But I don't know the specific name for it.

well i think its just called a common brown pleco it rely dosn't matter to me wat sex he/she is, i dont wanna breed plecos

It has been a passing thought with more frquency lately, but I would have to move since there is NO ROOM for a tank large enough to breed those monsters in.(speaking of size not additude)
