pleco questions

I'm sure there has been, but they're so common, so why should they? It's better to breed the unique ones.

Maybe just to experience breeding. By rare, I think zebra (L046) and the vast majority of hobbyist cannot afford to buy a group of these for breeding.

I am not sure if it's possible for you to breed commons PB but would you have the room as they get so big?!!

There are other nice rare ones, not as expensive as the L046. I think the problem with breeding the commong pl*cs is plecs usually show dimorphism when they are very close to full size. They will only breed when they are full adult size. Therefore, people normally breed the smaller ones, which take less time to grow to full length, than larger ones, such as the common pl*c.
