I might just be noticing this for the first time, but it seems like all my pleco ever does is poop. When I look in my tank, I see long, long strings of pleco poop! Is this normal? The other fish don't seem to care...
Thanks,
Dave

Sounds pretty normal to me, although you might want to reduce his food a little.

What does he eat?

The algae on the tank walls, and each night I drop 1 or 2 little wafers in for him (or her).

1 or 2 a night is far too much for 1 pleco... 1 every 2 days should be more than plenty, and will encourage it to eat as much of the left overs in the tank as possible.

Plecos do poop a lot. I have a Bristlenose Pleco and it does it a lot in the evening, because that's when my fish are fed their main meal.My pleco has access to the other fishes food and I also feed 1 algae wafer in the evening. The other fish eat it as well.
