Greetings all! Yesterday I was at the LFS and I bought a couple of small plecos for a 20g. They were listed as Bristlenose, but I don't have much experience with those guys. They also don't have anything close to bristles They have a nice purplish-blue tint to them and aren't the least bit shy. Here is a pic (not that good) of one of them. Thanks for your time!

If it's a female Bristlenose, it wouldn't have any, or very few bristles. However that doesn't look like one to me but it's kind of blurry so details are hard to make out.

from the piccy, it looks like the wrong shape for a bristlenose (or any of the Ancistrus family)

Give the photo shoot another try and I'm sure we'll pin it down
