was given this plec the other day,

anyone out there know what it is? its about 7 inches long

yep i will go along with that. they get rather big and most people have to rehome. IMO they shouldnt be kept in home aquaria as most people buy them and then have to rehome anyway. they should be left in the wild. the same with all large catfish as the majority of the public do not have the space or knowledge to care for them correctly.

(you could have a large tan though.)

i agree truck, its got a more squarish shape than other plecos
