i did post about this being extremely hyperactive also, but had no luck in purchasings stones to create caves for it today, that will be looked into in the next week so if anyone can tell me if this is a sign of distress in the plec, let me know that also

He's a common and I'm sorry to say its deformed (not that it looks like it effects him that much! )

How old is he? and what sized tank is it in?

I had an albino cory that had a tail like that. She lived a good couple of years and spawned a few times so provided you give it a good home, it could live a long life.
