Pleco Id Please

bought this a while back...it was labeled as gold seam pleco and was 70 USD.

i know its not gold seam because nothing like that exists except orange seam and i dont think it looks like it right?


what is it and is it a rarety?? are they bred in captivity or from the wild? thanks guys

I think its one of the plecos commonly sold as snowball plecs, think it may be LDA33, but i'll just check that with planetcatfish

I'd be inclined to agree...

A better pic would be good to ID for sure though but the spots are a lot bigger on an LDA33.

many reasons including ban from export from brazil and also the building of the damm which is threatining the survival of the species in the wild

tbh if you want them that much money wont be an object

yeh but i dont have the money lol i think that the plec at the top looks like a snowball plec whit yellow spots but other than that im pretty new to plecos i only keep a few bns
