pleco food???

what can i feed my pleco he is huge bout 7 inches which is huge to me as i got him out of my pond that he was in this summer and now he is huge and he wont eat the regular fish food what will he eat besides algae wafers? he is big and i dont want him to starve ???

I feed my Plecs on a diet of Algae Wafers, Bloodworms and vegetables including cucumber and lettuce. Depending on the species Bogwood is often needed in their diet.

Plec's love salad! E.G. Cucumber, and stuff lol, i been saying this all day. )
When preparing cucumber take off the skin and take out the pip things i think, and put something there to weight it down.

Its just a big fish tank if its kept in good condition and warm etc.. i guess lol.

My gramp took his cat out of his tank and put it in the pond, when he took it out again it had grown immensly! like from average to huge!

yea i just put mine in the pond for 5 weeks and he trippled in size i updated from a 20 gallon to a 55 gallon so i wanted bigger fish for a bigger aquarium so i put him in the pond to grow up lol but i am going to try the cucumber tonite thanxxxx
