Pleco Feeding On Other Fish?

so i've had this lemon spotted green pleco for awhile now, he's maybe 6-7 inches long, but lately i've noticed he sucks on everything in the tank rather ravenously, and i'm starting to fear that maybe he's aquired a taste for the slime coats of other fish

i noticed these markings on the side of one of my severums today, but only on this one

(the grey ring like shape toward the tail of the one, should've circled it in red)

heh, i also caught them liplocking and junk, so maybe its just aggression between them, anyway...

do you guys think that might be the marks from his mouth sucking on the severum?

theres, well i don't want to say similar, but a marking that forms a ring on my silver dollars too, but since all of them have it, in the same spots, i don't think thats from any kind of sucking

the trouble is though that whenever i turn on the lights to see if i can catch him maybe sucking on someone else, he darts back into hiding, he's out alot during the day but i've never seen him bother any other fish

theres a bristlenose in the tank too, but i've had him for a real long time now, so i doubt he's bothering anyone, never has before

but yeah, based on the pic, what do you guys think? am i just freaking out over nothing?

When you say "Lemon Spotted Green Pleco" - do you mean an L200 ?
Those markings are very suspect and cause for concern.

yeah, L200

edit: i looked at in a better light, and i'm leaning toward aggression, the markings are much too long and non-circular to really be from sucking, its still something i'm going to keep an eye on however

Unless you catch him in the act, i wouldn't blame him for the damage- you have some quite agressive fish in the tank that are more likely to inflict damage on each other than the plec .
