I have noticed that my female Bristle nose has become fatter/broader in the middle (in area between the pairs of side fins) just wondering if she might be carrying eggs ready to go? I doubt she has just eaten too much. The male is not guarding any caves at the moment so I am not sure. Any ideas?

hi there is your male chasing your female if so this is usually a good sign .

i have just had a pair of A, bushynose triads breed, and before that i have had much succes with A,lucosticus (think thats how you spell it ) but breeding has always been after much chasing .

hope they do breed for you i cannot stay away from the tank when they do its facinating .But trying to spot your babies is hard work

good luck

Yes now he is and he has also taken up residence in a cave and is defending the opening so fingers crossed :D . I am confused with the babies I already have. The sizes would indicate they had two batches(some still really small some more than twice the size) but I thought only one. Maybe they just had two small batches close together and I didn't notice.

I did have a hard time finding the babies the first time.
