I have a beautiful Pleco about 8 or 9 inches (a bit hard to measure), not sure of type - gold spot or leopard. I thought he was a Gibbiceps but on another forum I have been told he's not, but anyway he's a handsome chap. He's free to a good home but I'm interested in exchanging for other community fish. I will not post, so for collection only

are you sure of his breed? i have a baby one that looks like him and he's a leopard sailfin, do you have any pics with his dorsal fin up?

Nope, I'm not sure at all. From my own research I thought he was a leopard, then when I posted his picture up on another forum there was a lot of replies and they all said he was a L001/L022.

Doesn't really matter - he's lovely, but if you definitely say he is then maybe I should just call him a pleco!!!

No I don't have another picture, he comes out at night and then I can't get the camera to focus in the dark!

Interested in swapping him for a few young mollies-dalmation and/or silver? Or jewel cichlid, but they are agressive not community fish
