i am planning to buy 2 or 3 of them but if they inter-breed, then i just have to get 1 - i can live with that.

They are all small Hypancistrus - so yes... they may well cross breed.

and i just found out that the zebras are part of the group as well.
i better keep out of the 3 then and just keep my aim on the zebra.

Sounds like you have set your sights quite high quite quickly...
PLEASE do a lot more reaserch before buying any zebras
