Plec Id?

Can someone please tell me what plec this is? I had it around 6 months, probably more it's hardly grown since iv had it. It eats well and all the other fish are growing well...

It's in my rio 400 and Active (as active goes when it comes to plecs)

It was sold to me as an orange spotted plec

Don't these get to around 12 inches? Mine has been around 3 inches for as long as iv had it (6+ months) lol

Haven't noticed a change in size at all

Not sure about it being L001. The shape of the tail on the yellow stripe in the end of it makes me wonder.

Thanks. Are these known to be very slow growers? I haven't known any fish with a potential size of 12 inch to grow so slowly. Lol

No, it is strange.

My thought exactly. Like I said the tank is a rio 400, so it's big enough and has good filtration (fx5). I do weekly 30-40% water changes and a gravel vac.

Iv had no problems with the growth of my other fish, they are growing really well.

As long as I know what type of plec it is then I'm not too bothered as he/she has always ate well and never hides away.

its an l001 xx cute things but they grow massive, i have one (mr sucky) :L who asnt grown at all either xx i wouldnt worry bout it too much, mines pretty happy x he is around 6 inches now

Mine still hasn't grown at all since I had it some 7+ months ago.
