Regrettably, I'm unable to get a decent picture of my plec due to him being shy and my camera having poor water shots, but hopefully my description will be helpful.

I bought my pleco when it was 2.5" thinking it was a Portel Angelicus, which would grow to a nice size for my 40gal. However, it's grown to about 6.5" during the almost 2 years that I've had it, which my sources say is too much for an angelicus...I upgraded him to a 75gal for now, but I'm not sure how much bigger he'll get!

I'm no expert, but he looks just like an angelicus to me, except for the size. Any ideas what he might really be, and what size tank he'll need?
