Plec Id Please...

Hi All
I'm new to this forum and having had a community tank for many years, feel like I might just get back to some serious fish keeping, or even breading as in the old days. Having grown a little tired with Model building and electronics (But that could be useful here).

If I get it right here's a picture of my one and only Plec, brought it very small for about £2-3 but he's now about 6" long and nicely coloured often a pinky-brown? So just what is he??

I have the same one I believe their called sail fin plecos

Gibbiceps aka Sailfin Plec, going to get a **LOT** bigger yet!!

That said, they are a beautiful species!

Yep, definitely a 'sailfin plec'/gibbiceps, can grow to getting on for two feet (although 18" is more usual).

id say 20 inch more realistic nice fish tho
