My plec has been attached to the walls for a good six days now. I gave him an algae wafer yesterday, he didnt eat it so I took it out today, 24 hours later. Is there enough algae that he doesn't need to eat anything else right now? Probably not an emergency but I'd appreciate if I could get an answer.
Thanks :*)

if there are some live plants in the tank he could be munching on them I know that mine do. I have the same plants in two seperate tanks and the ones that are in with my pelcs are eaten down to the gravel and the others are growing like mad. just give him some time and I am sure that he will snap out of it.

I'm sure that once he's finished all the algae on the tank walls, he'll start eating. When I first got my plec he was also attached to the sides for a week or so, but once he realised that food was readily available he started eating and hasn't stopped yet :) Put in a piece of blanched cucumber or courgette - attached to something to stop it floating - (I spear mine on a lollipop stick and put it in the gravel) Don't worry, he'll start eating soon.
