Plec For A 70 Litre?

Hi all,

I was just wondering, what Is the smallest plec available to buy and will it fit into a 70 litre aquarium? (about 18 US gallons)

brisslenose plec. they are able to live in liters i think and only grow to around 3 inches-4 inches and are moderatley hardy.

Thanks, now I have a few plecs to choose from. What about Clown Plecs? I heard they only grow about 3 inches.

yep clown plecs are fine and are realy nice to look at my fish store has an odd looking grey one. i wanted it but didnt have enough cash

Talking about cash, how much would a bristlenose, clown and a bulldog plec be? I think I saw a plec at my LFS for £15. But I think it was a small common. Thanks

bulldog not sure clown plec ur looking around £5-£8 and bristlenose around £5-7 but they might be cheeper or dearer from were you are from im just going on the average prices from around mine.

no probs brisslenoses are realy hardy so can survive uner their recomended conditions. this doesnt mean they shoud be kept under them. have you got a pic of your tank. do you have any plants in there. im just wondering if you do do you use a Co2 injector i realy need to firgure out what to put in lol

Yes I do have a pic of my tank, and yes I have a few live plants, 2 of which were bought today. I'm having a few problems with uploading to photobucket at the moment, but I'll try and get them on as soon as possible.

Ive already told you where you can read and find out, its up to you to actually do it.

1 Bn in 70l should be fine.

I think you mean Pitbull plecs, they grow to around 2"/5cm, Bulldog plecs grow to around 4"/10cm.
