Plec Eating Paint

I just noticed my pleco is eating the paint off a fake cave looking thing in my tank.

Will this be ok? Or will it harm him?

Pant isn't good for any fish, I would replace it with something that doesn't have pant.

I'd say he'll probbaly be fine if this is the first time doing it. But that's unlikely unless you put the cave in today...If I were you I'd remove the cave asap.
