If they are its probably in the Geno of one of the fish, probably the dt somewere in the parents or grandparenrs........

although it may be a crown without knowing what the parentage was its difficult to say, if both sibling carrie the geno its possible, but you could end up with veils tails or even combe tails this is the problem with buying petshop bettas you dont know the history so you may get some excellant fish you may end up with a tank of bad fish it depends on what you looking for always best to buy known geno fish from a breeder, fish from lfs is like buying a tin from the supermarket with no lable you dont know what is in the tin untill you open it, a nice suprise or dog meat........
