I didn't sit down and do the math on the size thing.... but with the variety and the # of companions, I'd say you have a nice community - I wouldn't add.

ALASKA

from what i can tell you have about 84.75" in your 55gallon
so you are a bit overstocked
i would recommend a larger or second tank,
or if you have very good filtration and you do regular water changes (providing your not seeing excessive aggression or having water problems) then you can get away with it
i myself would probably go for another tank ;)

here's what i calculated:

- Tiger barb (2") x (9)
- Fancy Angel (8") x (2)
i am unsure about the size of angels but they are usually 6-9"
- Neon Dwarf Gourami (2.5") x (2)
- Red swordtail (2") x (3)
- Spotted Cory (2.75") x (5)
- Clown loach (7") x (3)
- Clown Pleco (5") x (1)
- Spotted Rapheal (6") x (1)
i was also unsure about the rapheal but i think its 6"

Why do you people insist on that rule? Would you use that rule to measure a 3" plec and a 3" livebearer? the answer is no. herbivore excrete more waste because they ahve to consume more plant matter to get the necessary nutrients. I'm not going to elaborate out of fear of reprisal.

I wouldn't add a different species of fish, if I were you. The angels and plecs are pretty big, so this limits the number of total fish you can have considerably. I wouldn't add more fish of the same species as those just mentioned, though you might be able to add a few more cories if you wanted to. Cories are more fun to watch in groups. :D
