Awww bless the little thing, wave it around your head a few times, get some money......it is a monie spider right?

That reminded me of this article i read a few years back
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1079895/The-amazing-pictures-giant-spider-eating-bird.html

The one in your link is (what I think) a Golden Orb spider, (plenty of them around here) and I think the one in my bathroom is a Hobo spider.....inflicts a nasty bite..... (not deadly though)

It looks like a type of wolf spider, not real fun to discover in the house and I would ahve choffed it off outside as well.

Thank god i live in england...

We aint safe mate, we have 600 species of spider, 14 of which have venom and bite but none are deadly and I'm currently looking after my mums dogs while she is on a cruise and one was on the wall the other evening very close to my baby boy, usual big black hairy house spider? So I thought, threw it in the garden and out went the dog, next thing she is poking it with her nose, then, whack! It latched on her lip, bit her, she then bit it which killed it so I got hold of it and my mums yelping dog to find her lip blown up like a balloon. Never seen one with actual bee stinger looking fangs but this thing had them. Dogs ok now it went down after 4-5 hours.

Ok... how about this...

Thank god i let the missus deal with them!

That better? :D

She used to live in Australia so things like this were the norm i think. Personally if i ever saw anything like that in my house i would smash it so hard with something that there would be probably be a big hole in the floor. lol.

Anything that looks like it could arm wrestle me and win, I'd run a mile. Ludwig I think you were brave to take a piccy.

Thanks to 26x Zoom lens, I did not have to get too close to it and if it moved at any time during the photographing session,..... I'd probably have lost the camera down the toilet....

Cazz... You are missing the point here.... this thing moves at 120km/h and it is on steroids!!!!..... I did however manage to manouvre it out the back door (with the broom)...... I'm now watching the front door!..... for a repeat performance!
