The catfish is about 3 - 4 inches right now.

Thanks for the help!

Its an irredescent shark, will grow over 5ft long, i strongly advise you rehome it;

I'm not meaning to lecture you or anything, but this is why it is so important to research and find out about the fish you are buying/getting before you get it :nod: .

Sorry, It is not an Iridescent Shark. I've had those before, and they are not the same fish. Check out the dorsal fin in my second pic; it is mearly a 1/8" little finlet, if that. The dorsal is almost non-existent. Also, look more closely at the long running fin on the bottom of my fish and compare it to the iridescent. Also, this fish is much more long and slender than an iridescent.

I dissagree, the tail is not the right shape for an ID Shark
it looks very much like a Eutropiellus debauwi debauwi catfish aka african glass catfish

My mistake, was a first glance thing as it looks very similar to a juevenile irredescent shark;

But i would not say its a Eutropiellus debauwi as its markings do not look distinct enough for one, its kinda blue too;
