Thanks for the help. Any ideas how big they tend to get? He is already getting a bit big for my tank so any bigger and he will need to be rehomed. is there any catfish that does not grow so big?

they can get upto 20"

a bristlenose plec stays much smaller!

This is a common plec, an albino one.

Size wise expect around 16-18 inch and they grow quickly, alothugh it looks a fair size already and they slow down a little the bigger they get
