my guppy has lost all of her scales on one side and it looks very sore is there any think i can do to help/save her i feel sooooooooo helpless please help me thanx

Try some melafix that repairs fins and scaled. You could get some stresscoat to do water changes with aswell as it also helps

Your guppy might be suffering from a bacterial infection. Are there any other fish in the tank that do not look completely normal?

The most important thing to do if it is, is to make sure your tank is very, very clean I suggest that you give the tank a big water change and do a good vacuuming of the bottom. Then use MelaFix for a few days to see if it will help. If not, we can move on to something stronger.

It would be a good idea to do a partial water change every day during treatment too. If it is bacterial in origin, this will not only help that fish, but it might keep the others from becoming infected too.

What are your Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate readings? How often and how large are your water changes? When did you do the last one? How big is your tank and what fish are in it? What is the temperature of the water?

These are all questions that will help us make a proper diagnosis.
