PLEASE HELP!

Yesterday I got three black khuli loaches and they were all visible earlier today. Now I can only see one. Where they heck did they go? Are Khulis jumpers? Did they try to escape do you think? I've looked around but I don't see them. This sounds so stupid I know, but I'm worried!! Please help if you can!

Look inside ornaments, under any rocks etc. Is it possible they got inside the filter?

I don't think they would have jumped (it's best that u have a lid on the tank to keep fish in & dust/other pets out).

Also, keep in mind they are nocturnal, and shy, and need a dark hiding spot. Maybe if you position a log/rock against the glass, you can see them when they hide inside it.

Don't worry Kuhli loaches are burrowers, and they are most likely in your substrate. If you are really worried dig around and I bet they'll pop up. They also tend to show themselves during feeding time, so drop some bloodworms in too.

I have a hood on my tank but there is a small gap they could have gone through [unlikely?? i don't know]. There aren't really any ornaments they could be under or rocks they could be like underneath some pants though, I have checked but didn't see them. I opened up the filter and didn't see them inside tehre either. I've fed them and only the one comes out to eat, its just playing around all by itself which makes it curious that the others don't at least show themselves a little. I'm hoping they will pop up sometimes tomorrow.
