About a week ago I noticed that my betta has been bloated and has something white on her belly anus area and her poop started floating. She is still eating and swimming normally, so I’m not sure what it could be. She is alone in a 5.5 gallon tank.

This may be really bad advise but too me white floating fish poo could mean there’s no food in the poo maybe try feeding more or changing foods see if that makes a difference if not I’m sure somebody could help with treatments but id try the simply route before adding anything to the water

The small white bump on her butt is her ovipositor. Female Betta splendens have a white ovipositor, males have a dark one.

If the fish does stringy white poop it can be an internal bacterial or protozoan infection, or intestinal worms. If the fish is eating well then it's probably worms.

See following link for info on stringy white poop in fish. Section 3 for intestinal worms.
