Well, I took a trip to my great LFS yesterday, but the owner wasn't there (very rare). It's owned and run 7 days a week by one young guy (who's help teach me most of what I know) and an assistant to help 1-2 days a week. I told her my situation and picked up a 10G for a hospital tank. She also sold me some med's that I can't for the life of me remember, but said these ones can wipe out ich at any stage in its life and only needs to be used one pill per 10G daily for 4-5 days. I bought a dozen to be safe and keep some onhand. I go home and go to setup the 10G aquarium when I spotted a chip in the glass in the corner. Unfortunately this was the exact time the shop closed. I brought it back today and the owner swapped it no prob. I told him my situation and asked him a bit more about the med's and their effect on the plants. He recommended treating all the fish and plants I still forget the name he told me of them, but he said they have no copper, they shouldn't harm any of the plants (he knows how many I have cuz they're all from him). Whatever this med/pill is called, he said this one will 'nuke' ich in any of it's 3 stages of life, 4-5 days it's all gone, plants are fine.
Today is day 1. I've got to go see him (LFS) again on Saturday when he gets his plant order sheet, so I'll try to remeber to get the name from him and keep you all posted to it's results. My Angelicus Botia Loach is still the only fish to have visible signs of ich, but they will all be treated now. Updates to come...
