Well, I went to change the water and he was in terrible shape. The whole side of his head was literally gone...I guess this happened while I was at work...I had my boyfriend euthanize him for me just now. I'm really sad but at least he's not suffering.

So sorry to hear that. I really am. I've been watching this post hoping something would work. Some times you can't save them. But it doesnt' make it hurt any less.
