please help my fish are all getting fin rot one by

i need some advice i have had my fish for about a year and a half and they are all starting to get fin rot one by one the first one died so i treated the water after a water change and everything was fine now another one has it but i am still treating the water with a fast acting first aid med for fin rot so what else can i do i had 7 medium sized fish i a big tank and its going to be empty soon any adivice would help thanks

What kind of cichlids do you have?

I'm wondering if the problem is not fin rot, but aggression.

fin rot can be caused by aggression from other fish by them attacking their tails......its one of the most common ways of them getting it
