I bought 5 of these little guys after my goldfish of about a year died. They're in quite a large tank for their size and they have space to swim around.. We have an airator stone type thing that pushes air through the tank(a large goldfish bowl), and they all had enough space and were swimming around.. But slowly 3 of them died. And now we're down to two and it looks like one of them is about to die, he's swimming around very disoriented and looks sick.

I have no idea what is wrong.

Need some more info how long have you had the neons, can you post water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, what was the ph of the store to yours, how long did you climatise them for, neons don't like currents, they like it calm, also is there any other fish in the tank with them and how many.

I don't know any measurements or amounts or anything.. I just put them in a tank.

That' s why they are dying i'm afraid, ph shock and probably tempreture shock on top, was the tank cycled.

Does the tank have a heater? Neons are tropical fish, so need warm water.
Does the tank have a filter? Otherwise the water will become full of poisons from rotting food and fish poo.
